Anxiety sufferers usually respond really well to Hypnotherapy, with clients usually noticing a marked difference after just one session. People with anxious worrying thoughts generally find it hard to relax and sleep so Hypnotherapy can calm the mind and body enabling symptoms to become more manageable whilst exploring the deeper concerns.

I have acquired the following CPD Certificates:-

  • NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
  • Rapid Induction Workshop
  • Changing Patterns of Behaviour – habits
  • Understanding the complexities of sexual abuse
  • TA (Transactional Analysis)

My approach to counselling

My approach to counselling is Integrative, and in my work I integrate different theories as they seem appropriate to the issues that clients bring, and in ways that we might work together, to understand and make the changes that clients wish to make.

Integrative means the blending of parts together to create something new, different and positive.

The main theories that I work with are, Person Centred, Psychodynamic, Generic CBT (which encompasses Cognitive Therapy, Cognitive Analytical Therapy, and Transactional Analysis).
